501(C)3 Status

The Perry County Fair is a non-profit event and is recognized as a public charity by the Internal Revenue Service. It is, therefore, exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(C)3 [effective date of exemption: May 21, 2015]. This means that those who chose to donate to the Perry County Fair can deduct their contributions under Internal Revenue Code Section 170.
